We believe in living and working and in ways that conserve resources, in operating with low emissions, and in acting transparently. Below please find an overview of what our contribution is to more sustainable travel.

At the hotel
- We are digitizing our check-in / check-out process to reduce excessive paper consumption.
- We offer six e-charging stations in our underground parkinglot.
- We separate waste, compost organic matter, and do not use Styrofoam packaging.
- We endeavor to use ecological suppliers.
- We endeavor to use ecological products.
- We attach great importance to good quality, and we rely on remanfacturing and upcycling.
- We are continually working to reduce our water and electricity consumption.
- Our employees receive public transport tickets so that an emission-free commute can be guaranteed.
- We have an insect hotel and herb garden on our roof terrace.
In the rooms
- We have switched our lighting predominantly to LED in order to reduce energy consumption.
- We use refillable care products and avoid small shampoo and shower gel bottles.
- We use FSC-certified paper for guest communication or digital, paper-free solutions.
- We only use ECO cleaning products that are EU Ecolabel certified.
At the restaurant
- We mainly use regional products.
- We do not offer endangered fish or marine products.
- We offer vegetarian and vegan dishes on request.
- Whenever possible, we use herbs that come from our garden.
Community initiative
- Once a quarter, we organize a social project or an environmental protection action with our team of employees.
- Every year we support Hamburg Leuchtfeuer with a fundraising campaign.
- Employee trainings on the subjects of safety and health protection take place regularly.
- Employee events take place regularly.

As a Hamburg hotel, we understand sustainability not only as the responsible use of resources, but also as a commitment to our community. That is why we regularly support charities, social initiatives and fundraising events. In doing so, we aim to make a positive contribution to the people in our region and support projects that are dedicated to creating a better society.
Charity Concert in Support of the Mammazentrum Hamburg Foundation
Music has the power to bring people together while making a positive difference. That is why we are proud to support the Mammazentrum Hamburg Foundation Charity Concert and help raise awareness of this special event.
The concert raises funds to support the foundation’s important work for people affected by breast cancer. It helps fund projects that provide guidance, information and support throughout their journey. At the same time, the event draws attention to an issue that affects many people and families.
We are delighted to support this initiative and join the Mammazentrum Hamburg Foundation in making a statement for solidarity and social commitment.
